The Santa Fe Community College Endowment Corporation, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation organized under Florida law and is fiscally and organizationally separate from the College.
Its purpose is to receive private gifts, bequests, and donations, and to account for, manage and help appreciate monies or property submitted to the Corporation. Such donations are totally tax deductible.
Funds for the Corporation are distributed to benefit and advance the College and for the encouragement and subsidization of students and faculty of SFCC.
The Endowment Corporation Board of Directors are composed of selected persons from Alachua and Bradford counties, who represent positive leadership and community influence and who have expressed an interest and desire to use their influence on behalf of the College through the Endowment Corporation.
The Endowment Corporation is prepared to support programs and activities of the College which promote College objectives. Corporation activities and support include but are not limited to the following:
Gifts to the Endowment Corporation may be made in any one of several ways and can usually be arranged to achieve maximum tax benefits for the donor while at the same time providing generous support to education.
Contributions may be made by gifts of cash, real or personal property, securities, by provision of a will, by gifts of insurance policies, or by the establishment of trusts. Gifts may be awarded for specific purposes or given without restrictions to use.
